Jamie Waller, Founder and Chairman of Just, visited the Newham Ability Camp to play football with the young people benefiting from the centre, which aims to bring families closer together and build long-lasting friendships through sports.
Sports has proven to be crucial for people with disabilities, to aid them both emotionally and psychologically. It not only helps them build self-confidence, it also gives them a sense of independence and purpose.
Jamie handed over a cheque today on behalf of Just, who will be making donations for the next two years, supporting over 30 young adults with disabilities and their loved ones. Elizabeth Harris, the Secretary of Newham Ability stated "It was wonderful to see the reaction from the club members when Jamie came down to meet them at our weekly football session and even better that he got involved with the kick about at the end of the session! We can't thank him enough, and really look forward to building the relationship over the coming years."
